THIS DOES NOT REPLACE A CERTIFIED REFLECTOR
A very basic, and i add here, basic, out of interest only project, a homemade reflector constructed from two C.D disks and sticky foil / aluminium tape (will cover X Band only 9.32 - 9.5 GHz) although bear in mind this is an interesting project this is not a replacement for a certified SOLAS reflector and does not intend to represent that ! You will need a mast to mount it, the higher the better obviously.
