EDC

For me in prepping terms, if i am going to be carrying something everyday it will be minimal. Example being off out in the evening it sure isn't going to be an Excalibur crossbow and a respirator, although you may consider that for Halloween ha. Being realistic, probably no pockets or large bag it has to be very minimal yet practical for both likely and unlikely scenarios that may crop up. I have what i can describe as four EDC kits, my small go anywhere, large, vehicle and festival. Here is a breakdown of the four kits.
                                 MINI EDC
Thinking about the average EDC 'everyday' being the word but how about anywhere? Some EDC kits have more in them than you would take on an expedition crossing Africa ha. My mini EDC i describe as my 'go anywhere' kit for such locations where search is probable before entry such as some clubs, courts and civil service buildings etc or indeed i do not want want to be carrying much at the time. The basic minimum carry while trying to cover some out of the ordinary eventualities.
The very basics, O.K it will not exactly be of much use in cataclysmic disaster but then that is not the kits intended purpose. First Aid. just a few first aid basics covering minor cuts, general pain, 2 litres drinkable water (2 purification tablets) 1 dose of essential prescription medications etc.
Lighting is covered by a mini LED torch oh and two birthday candles just in case i stumble upon an emergency birthday party. Fire starters include matches and tumble fluff with added crushed and crumbled standard fire lighter. Respiration protection is minimal with a basic mask due to space although better than nothing. Small mirror and a whistle for emergency signaling or if i want to check my makeup whilst refereeing a game of football. A simple compass is the navigation section. Scarab multi tool.
  LARGE EDC
A more comprehensive kit all housed within a Kamala camera case. A step up from the mini for general days out, going to work, when carry can be increased without becoming a hindrance or causing possible problems.
P.P - FFP2 mask, nitrile gloves
Rescue - Mirror, whistle, smoke
Navigation - Compass
Lighting - Torch, glow stick, candle
Tools - Multi tool, Opinel knife, razor blade
Fire - Lighter, fire starter, magnifyer
First Aid - Plasters, dressing, bandage, steripod, antiseptic wipes, safety pins, steristrips, hand sanitizer, analgesic, K1, anti dihorrea, antacid, magnyfier
Water - Aquatabs
Other - Wax string. Silica gel sachet.Waterproof capsule housing I.D and medical history and 2 doses of prescription medication.
                                      CAR EDC
This kit is always in the car in addition to the general car kit.

Car EDC Should be personalised to your routine, environment and climate. The bag has a shoulder carry strap for ease of carry if the vehicle has to be abandoned.
                                   EVENTS EDC
If you are one for going to festivals, pubs or
clubs etc. Sure i have been known to drink the occasional glass of wine, o.k bottle, i mean box, well o.k the whole vinyard.
This kit is built around my mini EDC and is based on the assumption you will be searched prior to entry where it has never been of concern, actually never opened. Other considerations for such a kit you may either lose or get things stolen so keeping to relatively low value items that can be easily and cheaply replaced are perhaps a wise idea.

BATTERIES ARE LIKELY TO BE LEFT WITHIN TORCHES IN EDC TO REDUCE KIT SIZE BE SURE TO CHECK THEM ON A REGULAR BASIS

                                                   THE BAGS
KEY RING EDC
Another kit of sorts, you are certainly more than likely to have this to hand or nearby, yes you have seen those with everything including the kitchen sink hanging on them, it might be practical for some however stuffing into small tight pockets could give the impression i've suffered a major prolapse or hernia. Pic given as an example if it's going into a bag, whilst a somewhat more practical version below.

PERHAPS CONSIDER KEY RING EDC AS BACKUP SHOULD YOUR MAIN EDC BE UNAVAILABLE OR LOST

                              PURSE EDC
Worth some thought , adding some items to your purse or wallet

                             BRACELETS
From a basic paracord bracelet to those containing numerous items, this one has a whistle.
                    SURVIVAL STAFF
Yet another way of EDC, the survival staff / walking stick. Here is a somewhat basic one i put together using a broom stick

Always handy for EDC, numerous models and sizes.
                 MINI COMBINATION TOOLS
Numerous mini kit tools about although not so much suited for regular use could prove useful in some instances.
                              POUCHES

Numerous belt pouches are available for additional carry, indeed some items will come with one.
                 GENERAL 'REALITY' EDC
These i generally carry with me along with the small EDC
                            EDC / DUMPS
